Closed comb safety razors are suited best for beginners. The blade is safely hidden, and the shave feels gentle. Our most popular closed comb razor is Mühle R89, which is great for all hair removal. Rapira razors, for example, are also closed-combed but in them the blade comes out so much that you can feel it on your cheek and the shave is therefore more aggressive.
