TATARA Razors started in Porto, Portugal, as a result of passionate product development by three friends and a team of mechanical engineers in September 2016. The Portuguese manufacturer's name TATARA (鑪) is inspired by the furnace where forge masters melted steel to forge samurai swords in ancient Japan. Like Japanese katanas, Tatara products are made with the utmost dedication to product manufacturing and detailing. All this has been carried out with the precision enabled by modern design and manufacturing methods.
